Cherith Farms raises fruits and vegetables in the natural way. The poultry on our farm not only produces good tasting eggs but provide a valuable service in removing insects from the grounds that would infest our apples and other plants. Our fields are also fertilized with natural poultry manure which enrich our soil.

I love your pictures. I write articles for a small nature journal and may I have permission to use your photo of a mother turkey and her chicks to accompany my article about wild turkeys for this online and print journal.
This journal is not for sale and is used for the enjoyment of its readers. Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you, Peggy, for your interest in my photos. Yes, you may use it. Although the mother turkey looks “wild” she is actually a cross between a Narragansett and a Bourbon Red turkey. You may notice on the photo some of the poults are yellow. These are the ones that actually grew up to look like the Bourbon Red – the rest looked “wild”. I enjoy photographying my birds and if you ever want any other – please let me know. Susan
